Cheesemaking"
with Di Thomas

When:
Will be held on Saturday 14th October  
When:
9.15 to 3.30pm at Rutherglen High School. BYO lunch
Cost: $120 for the day. Includes all ingredients, supplies &  workshop notes. 

 A selection of cheeses to be made on the day could be Camembert, Haloumi, Feta, 
Labne, Paneer, Quarg, Mascarpone, Ricotta, cream cheese or sour cream.

It’s a hands-on, fun cheese making workshop.
Learn how to create delicious cheeses in your own home.
Learn several basic cheese making techniques.
It is not a difficult process and does not require a lot of equipment.

Buying and Selling on EBAY

  3 hour Workshop - with an intro into how to set up an ebay account,
paypal account and how to buy and sell on ebay.   
People to bring one item to sell that they could list during the class.

This workshop is designed to give you an understanding of the basic Feng Shui principles.

This school holidays have loads of fun and create with Fiona. Enjoy colour mixing,
printing and painting techniques to create your own beautiful works.
Create simple sculptures and art works to take home and develop your own artistic style!

Introduction to Coil Baskets
with Fiona Vanderweyde

WHEN :

Morning & afternoon tea provided along with a grazing table and also a glass or two of bubbly.

Spend a delightful day with Fiona learning how to create your own unique
Weavings and Coil Baskets.
Learn a variety of techniques, using natural fibres or string along with hand stitching
to create your own small works to take home. There will be a variety of products available
for use on the day; however you may choose to bring some of your own.
Creating your own unique bowl or coil forms to make your own beautiful works of art is
exciting and fun. Additions can be made to the bowls with beads, shells
or be inspired by nature’s gifts.

When: Saturday  September 16th       10.30am – 4.30pm

Morning & afternoon tea provided along with a grazing table and also a glass or two of bubbly.

Explore your creativity with design, shape and form and discover how simple it is to create unique sculptures for your garden from recycled or reclaimed materials.
Learn how to up-cycle and make a variety of sculptural wares. You will be encouraged to learn
a range of varied tool uses, connecting techniques including pop-rivets, drilling, driving & wire twitching to create fabulous sculptures. Give you confidence to create your own beautiful works
and want to continue developing your own artistic sculptural works at home.

Burst into Spring with
Introduction to Botanical Art & Art Making

Cost:  $65 per person
Morning & afternoon tea provided along with a grazing table and also a glass or two of bubbly.

Share with Fiona her passion for flora, nature and the garden. Learn simple watercolour paint application, brush work, the joy of colour mixing, mark making and printing techniques to create
your own beautiful works.
By the end of this class, students will feel confident using their new skills to continue
developing their own artistic style!

When: Sunday  October 8th          10.30am – 4.30pm            
Where: At Bill Hotson’s Studio, 143 Old Cemetery Road, Chiltern
Cost:  $85 per person (Class numbers limited so book early)
Morning & afternoon tea provided along with a grazing table and also a glass or two of bubbly.


Spend a delightful day with Fiona learning how to create your own unique
Encaustic works and paintings.
Learn a variety of techniques, using paper, fabric or natural products and hand stitching
to create your own small works to take home. There will be a variety of papers available;
however you may choose to bring some of your own.
Creating your own unique marks is what art is all about, whether it’s with a brush,  pencil,
charcoal or wax. It is also about the tools used to make these marks.
Learn how to make your own beautiful Encaustic works of art.  
Have fun being inspired by nature to explore different textures. Create various effects
and marks from different tools and techniques along with natural, recycled materials and paper.

Wire Sculptures

Explore the use of wire and discover your creativity with simple shapes and forms to
create unique sculptures for your garden from recycled or rsuty materials.

Learn how to make a variety of basic sculptural forms and create fabulous sculptures.
You will leave this class feeling inspired and confident and will continue developing
your own artsitic scupltural works at home.
All materials are supplied.
